Welcome to the page of Mathematics

Presentation

You will find scholarly papers, articles and other resources on mathematics. My name is Jaime Vladimir Torres-Heredia Julca and I am an independent researcher. I have been publishing scholarly papers for the last 20 years. One of them, "A geometrical link between the circle and sexagesimal system" has become quite known and quoted by many other researchers.

I studied at the High-School of Geneva (Collège de Genève) and I got a scientific diploma (maturité scientifique). After that, I studied physics and mathematics at the University of Geneva during 3 years. After that I continued to study mathematics on my own and I began to study also philosophy and computer science for the humanities at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Geneva and I hold a M.A.

My main interests are topology, mathematical logics, history of mathematics and probabilities.
